With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Kowalski Jr. of Independence, Ohio, who passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As John departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Theresa; his children, Vikki Brzoska (Matthew), Deanna Mauretic (Joe), John J. and Matt (Sue); his grandson Dominic; and his parents, John Sr. and Anna.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fortuna Funeral Home - Independence (7076 Brecksville Rd, Cleveland, OH 44131). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fortuna Funeral Home (7076 Brecksville Rd, Cleveland, OH 44131). A burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at the All Saints Cemetery (480 W Highland Rd, Northfield, OH 44067).
