It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth Mondak of Independence, Ohio, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank E. and Ruth; and his sibling Jerry Mondak (Jo-Ann). He is survived by: his spouse Lolly; his children, Kelly Smith (Patrick) and Scott (Jamie); his grandchildren, Leo Smith, Cameron Smith and Althea Smith; and his sibling Fran Vanderwyst (Boyd).

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fortuna Funeral Home - Independence (7076 Brecksville Rd, Cleveland, OH 44131). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Saint Michael Catholic Church (6912 Chestnut Rd, Independence, OH 44131).

In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Make a Wish Foundation or Special Olympics.
