He was predeceased by: his daughter Madeline; his parents, John and Olga; and his siblings, Danny, Carole, Helene, Gene and Alan.

He is survived by: his wife Madeline; his children, Cheryl Bradas (Zoran), Stephen, James (late Claire) and Chris (Katie); his grandchildren, Zach Bradas, Max, Jasper Karpowicz, Kayla (David Retana), Adam and Alex Karpowicz; and his great grandchild Mia Retana.
