She was predeceased by : her children, Bradley Hassan and Janez John Turk Jr.; her parents, Shearl Dennis and Lucille Prettyman; her grandparents, Joseph and Blanche Dennis; and her uncle Sterling.

She is survived by : her spouse Janez "John" Turk; her son Jeffrey Hassan (Amanda); her granddaughter Jessica Tortelli (Vincent); her sibling Lonnie Joseph Dennis; her aunt Dorothy Dennis; and her cousins, Joseph, Robert and Debra Dennis.
