With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie Coutts in Independence, Ohio, born in Ashtabula, Ohio, who passed away on February 28, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allan Prentice and Evelyn Prentice; her husband H. Donald Coutts; her daughter Cary Kata; and her siblings, Ruth Mason and Lt. Merrill Prentice.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Stanbery (Dan) of Avon Lake, Cindy Priest of Ashland and Kunna Hilbrands; her son-in-law Martin Kata of South Carolina; and her grandsons, Scott (Nicole Standbery), Bobby (Lily), Kevin (Michelle Priest-Anna), Isaac, Mark Standbery-Ben, Emmett, Justin, Kelsey Kata, Jackson, Christian (Amanda Kata-Natalie), Luke, Kory (Molly Priest-Savannah) and Martin (Samantha Kata-Frances).
