Opal Hood Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Opal Hood in Independence, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Opal Hood to pay them a last tribute.

Though Opal may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Jerry; and her children, Jerry, Timothy (Ronelle) and Craig (Katy). She was also cherished by seven grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Baptist Church (4116 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
