It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Renee Knittel of Independence, Ohio, who passed away on September 14, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Zack and Lorraine Zack (Borris); and her sister Lorraine McNally. She is survived by: her husband Gerald Knittel; her daughters, Denise Gallagher (Jim), Debbie Sollinger (David) and Diane Bittman (Andrew); her grandchildren, Jessica, Justin, Jordan (Maddie), Tommy, Victoria, John, Theodore, Lucas, Peyton and Olivia; and her brothers, Robert Zack (Janice) and John Zack (Ellie).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vodrazka Golubski Deliberato Funeral Care (6505 Brecksville Rd, Independence, OH 44131). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (6912 Chestnut Rd, Independence, OH 44131).
