He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Kolk and Aldena Kolk; and his brother Tom Kolk. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth; his children, Richard Jr. (Patti), Mary Meyer, Teri Hedrick (Doug), Sharon Janiak (Bill) and Robert (Karen); his grandchildren, Ryan (Jennifer), Jeff (Ashley), Nate (Kristen), Richard III, Wesley (Connie), Tyler (Aaron), Kelli (Kathryn), Jennifer (Davy), Jake, Hannah, John and Katherine; and his great grandchildren, Lucy, Molly, Natalie, Jaden, Guinevere and Jack.

Family suggests donations be made to Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd, Fairlawn, OH 44333.
