He was predeceased by: his parents, William Papes and Mary Papes; his brother Ronald Papes; and his nephew Bill James. He is survived by: his children, Karen Getz (Daniel) and David Papes (Tammy); his grandchildren, Jacob (Olivia) and Madison Getz (James); his sisters, Anita James and Debbie Stanzak (late Gary); his nieces and nephews, Todd Papes, Tina Jett, Marie James, Scott James and Jaime Stanzak; his wife Roberta Gozinsky; his children-in-law, Daniel and Tammy; and his grandchild Madi. He is also survived by cousins, aunts, and uncles.
