Gary Barker Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Barker in Irondale, Ohio, born in East Liverpool, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2025 at the age of 69. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Barker and Shirley Barker (Russell); his granddaughter Carmen Grogg; and his pet Molly. He is survived by: his wife Carol Barker; his children, Paul Geisse (Connie), Nicole Barker (Bradley Estepp) and Jolie Geisse (Bill Fletcher); his siblings, Michael Barker and Shirley Gooding (Robert); his grandchildren, Alissa Geisse (Gordon Botman), Robert Hill (Christa Burgess), Ryan Geisse (Allyssa Buzek), Jonathan Hill, Garrett Grogg, Morgan Grogg and Charlie Wilson (Lynsey Tray); his great grandchild Ellie Glenz; his granddaughter Lyla Wilson; his brother-in-law Robert Gooding; and his close friend Rich Shepherd.

In lieu of flowers, Bear's wish was for memorial donations to be made to the Living Well Church in Wellsville. Donations can be made below.
