He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd, Sr. Hinds and Juanita Hinds (Maddox); his wife Sarah "Magadline" Smith Hinds; and his daughter Rita Sharp. He is survived by: his sons, Terry Hinds (Sherry) of Franklin Furnace, Gary Hinds (Joan) of Ironton and John Hinds (Debbie) of Ironton; his caregiver April Shope; and his grandchildren, Ashley Hinds (Nich), Whitney Stapleton (Jimmy), Brittany Armstrong (Bub), John Holston (Brittany Danbury), Loveda Reffett (Donnie Copley), Terry Hinds, Jr., Melissa Sparks (Josh), Christina Cox (Allen), Johnny Hinds, Jay Hutchinson and Jeanette Hutchinson.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Buckeye Cemetery. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 8:00 PM.
