He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Murnahan and Edith Murnahan (Broce); his wife Doris Murnahan; and his brothers, Earl "Ike" Murnahan (Julia) and Carl "Teen" Murnahan (Vera).
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Stapleton (Bill) of Ironton, OH. and Mike Murnahan (Jackie) of Kitts Hill, OH.; his grandchildren, Gabe Stapleton (Jennifer), Nick Stapleton (Lisa), Andy Murnahan, Amy Payne (Steve) and Amber Conway (Will); and his great grandchildren, Wiley, Jack, MacKenzie, Cyrus Stapleton, Farrah and Sloane Conway.
The military honors was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodland Cemetery (824 Lorain St, Ironton, OH 45638).
