He is survived by: his wife Ida Mae Dean (DePriest); his children, Steve (Jill Depriest), Penny (Tony Timmons) and Kelli Dean of Lexington, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Lindsay (Neil Hohman), Luke (Annie DePriest) and Kylie (Kyle Henson); and his great grandchildren, Miles, Kendal, Mack, Brooks, Hadleigh Jo and Kimber.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or a tree to be planted in his honor.
