He was predeceased by : his parents, Creaton Sanders and Mary Combs Sanders; and his brothers, Clyde Sanders and Donald Sanders. He is survived by : his wife Margaret Ritter Sanders; his children, David Sanders (Brenda), Rita Brammer and Jeff Sanders (Glenna); his siblings, Brenda Speaks, Harry Sanders and Darrell Sanders; and his grandchildren, Davey Sanders, Brad Sanders, Rebecca Goodwin, Justin Dillon, Andy Brammer, Kelsey Shope, Chris Sanders, Matt Sanders and Shannon Madden. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home (802 Solida Rd, South Point, OH 45680). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
