It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Sue Layne (Ironton, Ohio), who passed away on May 9, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Clay Dillon Jr. and Betty Lou Dillon (Bishop); her brothers, George Clay Dillon III and Craig Martin Dillon; and her sister-in-law Shirley Anne Dillon (Collins).
She is survived by: her husband Steve Layne of Deering, OH; her children, Tara Gunther (Ronnie) of Yulee, FL and Travis Layne (Amanda) of Sunbury, OH; her brother Rod Dillon (Sharon) of Deering, OH; her aunt Barb Murnahan (Bob) of Ironton; and her grandchildren, Austin Layne, Ty Gunther, Tori Gunther, Mason Gunther and Taylor Layne. She is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
