He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Holbrook and Wilda Maynard; and his siblings, Diana Thompson and Leeroy Holbrook. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Chaput Holbrook; his stepchildren, JW Thompson, Jr., Nikki Dawn Thompson and Kristaphor Thompson; and his siblings, Sharon Osborne, Robin Payton, Gayle Holbrook, Linda, Brenda Holbrook and James Robert Holbrook. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wallace Family Funeral Home to help the family with expenses.
