She is survived by: her children, Michael Powell (Brandy) of Jackson, Ohio, Nicole Carter of Flatwoods, Kentucky, Alisa Carter of Ironton, Ohio and Darrell Carter Jr. of Ironton, Ohio; and her siblings, Merle Powell of Jackson, Ohio, Joy Nelson of Chillicothe and Jill Rider of Columbus, Ohio.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
