He is survived by: his sons, Cory Stapleton (Veronica) of Killeen, TX, Shawn Stormes (Rachael) of Greenfield, Kyle Stormes (Sara) of Flatwoods and Jarrod Stormes (Katie) of Wurtland, Kentucky; his siblings, Jim Stormes (Jennifer Webb) and Julie Prichard; and his stepfather Bill Loomis. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (1004 S 7th St, Ironton, OH 45638). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
