She was predeceased by: her parents, George Jenkins and Carbie Jenkins (Little); her former husband Joseph Denver Viars; her sons, Robert Viars and Joseph Viars; her siblings, Mary Murnahan, Virginia Burcham, Charles Jenkins and George Jenkins; her great grandchild Torrence Linthicum; and also Harry Hilgenberg.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Church (Jim) of Ironton, OH, Bonnie Smith (Barry) of Auburndale, FL, Charles "Chuck" Viars of Ironton, OH, Ronald Viars (Laura) of Ironton, OH and Alvin Viars (Jonette) of Bullhead City, AZ. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
