He was predeceased by : his parents, Otto R. Schweickart Sr. and Mamie Mae Schweickart (Bruning); his wife Hilda Schweickart (Norris); his daughter Annabelle Jenkins (Schweickart); and his sister Pauline Dingess (Schweickart).

He is survived by : his children, Margaret Triplett (Steve) of Georgetown, Hank Schweickart (Casey) of Frankfort and Fred Schweickart (Tabitha) of Ironton, Ohio; his son-in-law Ed Jenkins (Annabelle) of Pedro; his sister Annabelle Meehan of Fairlawn, NJ.; and his grandchildren, Matt Jenkins (Selena), Luke Jenkins (Bianca), Sara Oluwashina (Jenkins), Zachary Triplett, Rachel Triplett, Christopher Schweickart (Shea), Emily Schweickart, Wyatt Schweickart, Mackenzie Schweickart and Max Schweickart. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
