The family announces the passing of Rose M. Patton of Ironton, Ohio on September 19, 2026. Rose, born on July 16, 1938, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Rose will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Rose by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Rose is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Rose’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Sanders and Carmen Butler Sanders; her husband David Patton; and her siblings, Don Sanders, Fay Jenkins, Christine Long, Wanda Matney and David "Bud" Sanders.
She is survived by: her caregiver Aide. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (1004 S 7th St, Ironton, OH 45638). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
