She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Moore and Susan White Moore Oney; her siblings, Lilly (Grover Gee), Nancy (Bill Conn), Pauline (Carl Dickerson), Laura Jane (Jim Blankenship), Betty (Virgil Browning), Peggy Ison, Richard Lee Moore, Clarence Moore Jr. and Jackie Thomas Moore; and her son Delmer Paul Kerns.

She is survived by: her husband Forrest Eugene Kerns Sr. (Toney); her children, Loreena Sue Sturgill (John), Lena Jay Darling (John), Forrest E. Kerns Jr. (Tina), Bentley Allen Kerns (Tammy) and Scott Mitchel Kerns (Sara); her daughter-in-law Edith Kerns of Ironton; her siblings-in-law, Ken Ison, Earl Butch Kerns and Kay Crager; and her friends, Lana Savary, Kim Bishop, Lou Pyles and Barb Bentley. She is also survived by 36 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
