He was predeceased by: his father Albert Akers. He is survived by: his mother Verna Carmen Akers; his daughter MaKenzie Akers of Raceland, KY; his stepson Hunter Sparks of Raceland, KY; his fiancée Sherri Mayle of Raceland, KY; and his siblings, Randy Akers of Ironton, Tim Akers of Ironton, Rhonda Tackett of Grayson, KY, Donna McFann of Pedro and Tammy Wilson of Ironton.
