He was predeceased by: his father Ernie Nelson of Greenup; his sister Tabby Jo Nelson; and his friend James Hamilton. He is survived by: his mother Eva Nelson of Pedro, Ohio.; his siblings, Tony Shope (Victoria) of Bonners Ferry, ID, Tonda Nelson Gilliland (Jamie) of Greenup, KY and Tamie Pancake (Carlinda Runyon Worsley) of Ironton, OH; his nieces, Tekia Triplett (Bryce) of Coal Grove, OH, Emily Mays and Ally Mays of Greenup, KY; and his friend Cathy Manshine.
