He was predeceased by: his parents, William R Mays and Martha Perkins McCown. He is survived by: his wife Lana Gail Robinson Mays; his children, Tommy "Bill" Mays (Linda) of Ashland, KY, Timothy Mays of Ashland, KY and Sherri Mays (Jerry McKenzie); and his stepchildren, Butch Hanshaw of Olive Hill, KY, Kimberly Koster (Adam) of Tampa, FL, Scott Koster (Melissa) of Jacksonville Beach, FL and Larry Koster (Lana) of Flatwoods, KY. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
