In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Benjamin had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Benjamin may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Young Jr. and Mary Emma Young. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Current; his stepmother Shirley Young of Hartford City, IN; and his children, Michelle Tinsley (Jason) of Bowling Green, KY, Josh Young of Lima, OH, Jessica Denney (Nathan) of Charleston, SC and Jennifer Doseck (Kyle) of Botkins, OH. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at the Wapak Nazarene Church (401 Court St, Wapakoneta, OH 45895).
Ben decided to donate his body to Cleveland Clinic for cancer research.
