He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Paul and Mary Edith Hawkins (McGowan); and his sisters, Beulah Hawkins and Wanda Knasel. He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Hagedorn; his children, Kevin (Rebecca) and Julie Pressnell (Michael); his sister Rosemary Christler; his grandchildren, Melissa Ingraham (Daniel), Laura Hawkins, Melinda Tinney (Jeffrey), Holly Hawkins and Meredith Pressnell Matthew (Larry); his great grandchildren, Owen, Hazel, Joshua, Sirius, Charlotte and Marilyn; and his pet Buddy Marie.
