He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Eugene and Velma Paulene Leininger (Fogt). He is survived by: his wife Linda D. Leininger (Brackney); his children, Heather Westrick (Jonathan Kurtz) of Maumee, OH and Matthew Leininger (Jennie) of Cincinnati, OH; his grandchildren, Miranda Westrick (Sarah Costello), Andrew Westrick (Emma), Cole Westrick (Abby Powell) and Katherine Rose Leininger; and his siblings, Constance "Connie" Steenrod (Dan) of Jackson Center and Kent Leininger (Toni) of Jackson Center. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jackson Center American Legion (627 East St, Jackson Center, OH 45334). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jackson Center Veterans Memorial Park.
