We announce the death of Valerie K. VanGundy of Jackson Center, Ohio, who passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carey E. Snapp and Betty J Snapp (Smith); her spouse Dale A. VanGundy; her son Brian VanGundy; her grandson Colton Park; her son-in-law Robin Park; her sister-in-law Joyce Snapp; and her parents-in-law, Lee and Ersa VanGundy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Park (Steve Fridley) of Lakeview and Gina Jenkins (Aaron) of Villa Rica, GA; her grandchildren, Justin Jenkins (Miranda), Dylan Jenkins (Brittany), Hannah Park and Nathon Wilson; her great grandchildren, Alithia, Elaina, Delilah, Historia, Logan and Pryce; her brothers, Errol D. Snapp (Barbara) of Lewistown, OH and Kerry L. Snapp (Denise) of DeGraff, OH; Sharon Masarik. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and her church family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Valerie's memory to Grace Chapel Gals.
