She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward L. Zimmerman and Julie I. Zimmerman (Boyer); her siblings, Martha Taylor, James and Norman Zimmerman; her brothers-in-law, James Taylor and William Etgen; and her niece Carolyn Etgen.

She is survived by: her husband Richard B. Skeen; her children, Steven Skeen and Martha Skeen; her grandson Matthew Skeen; her brother Thomas Zimmerman (Laurie); her nieces and nephews, Kimberly Taylor, Anne Etgen, Mike Etgen, Kathy Etgen, David Etgen, Mary Etgen, Nipa Polnoi, Nam Kue and Tommy Horne; and her sisters-in-law, Jesslyn Etgen and Carol Ann Skeen.
