She was predeceased by : her parents, James H. Wills and Josie D. "Jarrell" Wills; her husband Chester Calhoun; and her siblings, Rina Mae Wallen, Clayton Wills and Ollie Wills.

She is survived by : her children, Redgie Calhoun (Dorothy-"Dottie") and Connie Bond (William "Bill"); her nieces, Jessie Sue Grey and Carolyn Rowe; her nephew Clayton Donald Wills; her grandchildren, Joe Bill Bond (Lee), Heather Dunlap (Jason) and Seth Calhoun (Erica); and her great grandchildren, Josie Brammer (Jerry), Maggie (Nate), Simpkins and Brennen Dunlap.
