Betty Lou Garvey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2026, at the age of 82, Betty Lou Garvey of Jackson, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Rouse and Stella Smith Rouse; her husband Cecil Garvey; her sons, Gary Garvey and Carl Edward Garvey; her siblings, Lyod Rouse, Wid Rouse, Donna Jean Jordan, Linda Fye Delaney and Arletta Simpson; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Garvey.

She is survived by: her sons, John William Garvey (Beverly), Cecil Anthony "Tony" Garvey (Roberta), Mark Wayne Garvey, Daniel Myron Garvey and Matt Garvey (Cathy); her brother Bob Rouse; and her close friends, Kathy Simpson and Pam Daniels. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
