She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Batey and Dezzie "Daisy" Batey (Templeton); her husband Mark Rose; her parents-in-law, Leroy "Bud" and Opal Mae "Patty" Rose; her brother Bennie Batey; and her brothers-in-law, Richard "Rick" Rose and Jerry Rose.
She is survived by: her brothers, Jim Batey (Linda) of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Marshall Batey (Wanda) of Jackson and Tim Batey of Hillsboro, Ohio; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Batey of Hillsboro and Pamela Sue "Susie" Barnhart of Jackson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fairmount Cemetery (12 Fairmount St, Jackson, OH 45640).
