He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Edna "Tyke" Smith, Joe and Laura Maiorana. He is survived by: his parents, Joe Maiorana and Jeanette Maiorana (Smith); his brother Zachary Maiorana; his grandfather Jim Smith; his aunt Christine Smith; his uncle Steve Smith (Sharon Flowe); his cousin Taryn Smith; his aunt Julie (Maiorana); his uncle Joe Petrecca; his cousins, Vincent, Michael and Maria Petrecca; and his friend Kirk Spuhler of Jackson Township.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in tribute to Dan.
