He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Dempsey and Elsie Mae Mann Dempsey; and his sister Beverly Dempsey. He is survived by: his brother Ken Dempsey (Heather) of Ironton, OH; his sibling's children, Mandi Dempsey (Jessica), Sarah Dempsey (Evan), Lucy Dempsey and Randy Steele (Kam); his great-niece Addy Steele; his great-nephew Zeke Steele; and his aunts, Charlotte Walters and Brooke Campbell. He is also survived by cousins and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville.
