He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Balow and Martha Balow (Plotzka); his wife Colette; his children, Chris Balow, Jeff Balow (Karen), Julie Pitz (Mike) and Sara Gliba (Bryan); his brother David Balow (Barbara); and his grandchildren, Katelyn, Evan, Ryan, Madison, Matthew, Marcus and Michael.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to St. Paul's Catholic Church in North Canton.
