With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Lee Howard of Jackson, Ohio, who passed away on January 21, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Mapes Howard; his stepfather Colonel Howard Houck; and his brother-in-law Edwin "Bub" Mapes. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Brian Sayre (Angela), Bethany Penix-Sayre (Kris), Julie Sayre (Josh) and David Sayre (Allison); his great grandchildren, Morgan Sayre, Logan Sayre, Mason McGhee, Landon McGhee, Griffan Sayre, Weston McGhee, Evan Burroughs, Lily Penix, Luke Penix, Aubrey Sayre, John Henry Sayre, Lauren Sayre and Kate Sayre; his close friend Bonnie Grow; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Mapes Tipton and Pat Howard Riegel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
