She was predeceased by: her father Delbert McCoy; her husband James E. Skaggs; and her siblings, Wendell McCoy and Jean Jenkins (McCoy). She is survived by: her children, Michael Skaggs (Amy) of Johnstown, Pamela Mertz (Curtis) of Ashville and Brenda Joseph (David) of Groveport, Ohio; her grandchildren, Derrick, Jenifer, Andrew, Candace, Joshua, Jeremiah, Jessica, Nicholas, Matthew and Megan; her great grandchildren, Avery, Josie, Myles, Regan, Colin, Lincoln, Pierson, Cameron, Caden, Addison and Aniston; and her sisters, Judy Leach, Juanita Lutz, Linda Sollars and Rebecca Griffeth. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Doris's honor may be sent to The Four Mile Christian Church, 6644 Four Mile Rd, Jackson, OH 45640.
