He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvah George Chance and Anna Marie Baumer Chance. He is survived by: his siblings, Laura Chance-Smith (Ned) of Marion, Theresa Chance-Gleason (Ben) of Middlebury, Ramona Chance of Grove City and Kenneth Chance of Rockville, Maryland; his nephews, Ben, Daniel, Tim, Walker, McCoy and Merritt; his close friend Candy Frazier of Jackson; and his grandchild Biddy Frazier.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be given to one of the following: Wounded Warrior Project; American Diabetes Association; or American Heart Association.
