She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Schaefer and Mary Schaefer (Verkamp); and her siblings, Stanley, Shirley, Ruth, Mary Alice and Jerry.
She is survived by: her husband Patrick "Pat" Swing; her son Michael Swing (Deanna); and her grandson Ian. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
