He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin and Joan; and his brother Mark Hissa. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Woolman Hissa; his siblings, Ann Humphrey (Mike), Alisa Humphrey (Guy), Michael Hissa and Mathew Hissa (Jennifer); his children, Erin Cunningham (Jason), Edwin Hissa (Jordan) and Julia Hissa (Chris Ilacqua); and his stepchildren, Thomas Enerva, Samuel Enerva and Joseph Enerva. He is also survived by five grandchildren and many, many nieces, and nephews.
