He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Swingle and Pauline Swingle; and his siblings, Jim Swingle (Betty), Shirley Priest (Jim) and Kenny Swingle (Barb).
He is survived by: his close friends, JJ Hale, Billy Kimble, Sonny Harless and Bob Ridge; his wife Linda Swingle; his children, Shannon Swingle of Jackson and TJ Conger (Jill) of Columbus, Ohio; his grandchildren, Emily McDaniel (Garret), Abigail Conger and Matthew Conger; his great grandchildren, Hardy and Averie McDaniel; and his pet Bernie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
