He was predeceased by: his parents, Oval Venus and Cecil Venus (Schuman); his son Curt Venus; and his sister Thelma Brynn. He is survived by: his wife Junnett Venus; his sons, Bryan Venus (Angela) and Chad Venus; his sister Shirley Griffiths (Gary); and his daughter-in-law Sunida Venus. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
