She was predeceased by: her parents, George McGinnis and Melissa McGinnis (Sinclair); her husband John C. Hawker; and her siblings, Darrell McGinnis, Betty Swingle, Larry McGinnis and Eileen Booth.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Gregory P. Hawker (Carol) and Susanne Walke (Jim); her grandchildren, Casey Riley (Brian), Jamie Walke (Josh McCarty), Lauren Penwell (Nick), Matthew Hawker (Jessica) and Ty Walke (Cynthia); her great grandchildren, Lexi, Boston, Madison, Lyndon and Lydia; her sister Imogene Miller; and her sister-in-law Clara McGinnis. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson (28 Harding Ave, Jackson, OH 45640). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
