He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Benson and Thelma Benson (Davis). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Benson (Haines) of Jackson Twp; and his children, Bryan Benson, Mike Benson and Michelle Martino. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Salvation Army, 315 - Sixth St. N.E., Massillon, Ohio 44646.
