He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Crabtree and Daisy Crabtree (McCain); and his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Gordon, Edgar Crabtree, Warren Crabtree, Arnold Crabtree, Rowena Barnhart, Willard Crabtree (Billy), Alvin Crabtree and Esther Crabtree.
He is survived by: his siblings, Shelba Harless (Sonny), Hayden Crabtree and Darrell Crabtree (Marcia); his children, H. D. Crabtree (Amanda), Erin Trimble (Jarod) and Samantha Crabtree (Dusty Nicholson); and his grandchildren, Evan, Jake, Joe, Ethan Crabtree, Claire, Nora, Ben Trimble, Shayleigh Fox and Brynleigh Nicholson. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
