It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Arthur Rose of Jackson, Ohio, who passed away on September 26, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Isaac Rose; his son John Robert Rose; and his siblings, Gerald Rose, Estelle Hall, Alma Cassillini and Ella Newsome.

He is survived by: his former wife Mary Rowland; his spouse Elvarie Wheeler; his daughter Sharon Kay Lewis (Mike) of Jackson, Ohio; his grandchildren, Bradlee Butler (Candice) of Oak Hill, Krystal Yerian (Jeff) of Jackson, Joshua Butler (Kelli) of Oak Hill and Becka Joos (Joshua) of Wellston, Ohio; his siblings, Douglas Rose of Jackson, Ohio, Emile Grover (Rose) of Jackson, Ohio and Windell Rose of Jackson, Ohio; and his stepdaughter Diana Sears of Jackson, Ohio. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
