He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Spear and Mildred Spear (Furbee); his sister Jo Ann Vignos; and his niece Teresa Vignos-Fisher. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Spear (Ross); his children, Kim Marie Spear (Randy) and James W. Spear (Deanne); his stepsons, Richard Portmann (Carolyn), Jeffrey Portmann (Terrie) and Douglas Portmann (Sandie); his grandchildren, Jake (Emily), Jeremy (Jenny), Jason (Kimber), Kristin, Ashley, Justin, Hannah and Hailey; his nephew Timothy Vignos; and his niece Cynthia Vignos. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and many close dear friends.
