He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Sammy Wilson Sr. and Shirley Hughes; and his uncle Oscar Goheen. He is survived by: his parents, Denver Hughes Jr. and Penelope "Penny" Wilson of Wellston, Ohio; his grandparents, Joanne Hughes of Wellston, Ohio and Denver Hughes Sr. of Jackson, Ohio; his wife Rebecca Hughes; his siblings, Candace Hughes, Jocelyn Hughes and Andrew Hughes; his nephew Kaiser Hughes; his uncles, Chris Wilson, Sam Wilson, Jeff Wilson (Mary) and Eddie Hughes (Sammantha); his aunt Peggy Travis (Pete); his cousins, Holly Qualls, Haylie Wilson, Kayci Wilson, Kelsey Ostrander, Nikki Travis, Shelby Hughes, Paige Hughes, Mason Hughes and Brandon Wilson (Tabitha); and his close friends, Denver Layne, Duke West, Cassel Rucker and William Rucker.
