He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Halter (Tatka); his daughters, Kathryn Fortman (Bob), Karen Halter and Kristina Blake (Mark); his grandchildren, Alex, Emma Fortman, Ethan and Connor Blake; and his siblings, Maryann Murray (Dan), Jeanne Balawajder, Ken Halter (Barb), Donna Conaway (Rich), Marcie Otto (Dan), Mark Halter (Connie), Maureen Heller (Doug) and Monica Scott (Alan).
Memorial contributions may be made to Divine Mercy Parish, St. Mary's, in memory of Jim Halter.
